The construction will be a spa hotel with 12 floors near the beach and north of the housing in Lomma Harbour. It will be one of Sweden’s largest spa hotels.
The idea is that the construction should have a lower scale with only one floor towards the beach and the housing. Towards the north-east the height will increase to approximately 60 metres, however, no more than 12 floors. The hotel should have around 175 rooms for overnight guests. Also, there will be made space for a restaurant, lobby, spa area as well as meeting and conference rooms. At the top of the hotel, it is planned to make a sky bar with a glass exterior and a roof terrace.
The project is planned by CA Fastigheter that together wtih Skanska and JM has had the responsibility for the development of Lomma Harbour in the last 15 years.
the main building will have a total of 15 000 square metres. The exteriors will primarily be made out of glass, however, where this is not possible, they will be made of brown and black bricks as well as facade ceramics in a beige colour. The facade of the main entrance will be covered in copper coloured slats.
Further, this project will also contain the construction of ten bungalows located east of the spa hotel. These will have a total building area of approximately 25 square metres. Here, the facades will be covered with wooden panels.
Besides this, new parking spaces will also be made east of the main building with direct access to the main entrance.
The project is expected to begin in Q1 2025, but for the current time being, it is unclear when it will be finished.
