Lalandia Søndervig wants to construct 140 new private owned vacation apartments on Lodbergsvej in Søndervig near their current facilities.
Lalandia was actually planning to construct a new, large bathing hotel near their other facilities in Søndervig, however, with the opportunity to build these vacation apartments, the project of the bathing hotel has been postponed until 2028 for the benefit of constructing the apartments.
The vacation apartments will be privately owned, while Lalandia will handle the operation and vacation rental of them. The new vacation apartments will be constructed in three different sizes so that they will have room for four, six, or eight persons. The area of the apartments is, therefore, ranging between 63 and 100 square metres.
The vacation apartments will in itself constitute a new district in Søndervig called Strandbyen. They will be located only 300 metres from Vesterhavet and, in the same area, green areas as well as restaurants, bars, and stores will be established.
Bay Arch has carried out the design of the apartments and Junge Byg has been hired to carry out the construction. Junge Byg has also previously written the construction of 180 vacation homes for Lalandia Søndervig on the to-do list.
The first sod is expected to be taken in September 2024 and the apartments is set to be finished in Q3 2025.
