GF-insurance wants to build a new head quarter office in Cortex Park in Odense. The building will be a total of 16 200 square metres of which 3 400 of these will be the basement.
GF-insurance has for many years been growing and last year they reached 360 000 members. Already two years ago, they had to make a temporary solution for their current office space since there was no longer room for everyone in the main building. Therefore, they can now look forward to more square metres and a more durable solution in the new office.
AP Pension’s daughter company, AP Real Estate, will be carrying out the construction of the new office building and will also be the owners of the building. Therefore, GF-insurance will just be renting into the property.
Peter Olssen from AP Real Estate says about the construction that the focus in all their estates is to contribute in the best possible way to the green transition and, therefore, this will also be the case of GF-insurance’s new office building.
Freja Real Estate, which owns the land in Cortex Park, is thrilled that GF-insurance has chosen this exact location for their new office as it ensures a continuous and positive development of Cortex Park.
Raundahl & Moesby is the general contractor on the project, which aims for a DGNB Gold certification for sustainable construction.
The first sod is planned for October 8 2024 and the construction will take 2 years to carry out. GF-insurance is expected to move in, in 2026.
