The purpose of the project is to build a new district with room for all generations focusing on the community.
The project consists of a new building in the form of a cooperative housing with care and nursing homes in six departments, a new preschool in three departments and room for up to 120 children as well as a new large kitchen with a restaurant part.
The size of the project is about 8000 square metres divided on two floors containing both preschool and nursing home as well as kitchen, restaurant, and staff areas. The plan is for the building to have 60 apartments for elders and a large balcony for all residents living in a department.
The construction should be entirely from wooden constructions in the form of cross-glued wood and in the middle of the building, a large outside yard should be placed.
The entire construction will be focusing on durability and solar cells will be placed on the roof.
The project is estimated to begin in Q4 2024 and is expected to be finished in Q4 2026.
