One of the key functions is ‘companies and roles’ which makes it possible for you to identify and monitor relevant companies which might be potential customers, business partners, or competitors. With Projektagenten’s advanced tools, you can easily stay up to date with the latest activities in the construction industry and adjust your strategy thereafter.

In the tab, ‘companies and roles’, Projektagenten has developed three key functions: company agents, company profiles, and company lists. These tool help you to effectively organise and monitor you business’ interests so that you can optimise your work and ensure that you are always up to date with the most important information.

Company agents

A company agent is one of the effective functions that Projektagenten’s platform offers. With a company agent, you are always up to date with news and changes concerning the companies or roles, you are monitoring. To create a company agent, you must navigate to the tab ‘companies and roles’.

Here, you set up the search critera matching the type of company, you want to follow. You get access to a search bar and two high-level filters: roles and countries. As an example, you can make a company search for architects in Aarhus Municipality with the filter ‘education and learning’ added. This gives you a list of relevant architects in the area. When your filters are set, you can save them as a company agent and add them to a list. You can create multiple lists to organise your agents more effectively.

You can also choose how often you wanna receive updates, which will be sent to your email. As an example, you can choose to get daily or weekly updates about changes regarding the monitored companies.

These agents can be configured to send updates just to you or they can be shared with your colleagues so multiple people in the business can monitor the development together. This ensures that all relevant parties is informed about important updates.

Company profile

If you have a specific company in mind, you can search directly on their name to find their company profile. As an example, a search for Copenhagen Municipality can give you detailed information about the company.

On the company profile, you are presented to different modules and tabs relevant for your company.

  • You get overall information such as website, phone number, address, and a short description of the company. On each company profile, there is a favorite button which will be described further below.
  • At the left, there is a field for notes, where you can write personal notes about the company that only your own company can see.
  • Below the notes, there is a list of contact persons with belonging contact information and roles, which makes it easy to establish direct contact with the company.
  • At the right, the projects that the company is involved in, is shown. Here, you can see details about their role in the project, the project’s date of publication, phase, geographical location, as well as project type. You can sort these projects after different criteria such as newest projects, name, phase, or role.

This way, you are always up to date with the latest, when the companies you follow gets involved in new projects.

Company lists

When you have found the chosen potential business partners, competitors, or customers, that you want to follow, for your own benefit, you can add them to your personal company list. This function has been developed to help you keep an overview of the companies, you want to follow. To follow the companies, you need to click on the favorite button. This button adds chosen subjects to your preferred list and notifies you when the companies are added to new projects. On your dashboard, you can see how many companies you have on a specific list and when you click on the specific list, you can see all the companies, you have added. You choose the name of the company list yourself and, therefore, you can create different lists depending on different monitoring criteria. As an example, you can create one for monitoring you competitors and another for monitoring potential business partners.

Now, you have become familiar with three key functions on Projektagenten’s platform: company agents, company profiles, and company lists, that optimises monitoring and organisation of relevant companies in the construction industry.
