Kylrumskvarteren is the third stage in the Slakthus area and consists of about 600 housings, other premises, and a park. The project is an important part of the development of the area which opens up for a new entrance to the area.
The housings includes 100 apartments for nursing homes distributed on 6 floors and with ten apartments per living unit with a total BTA of 8090 square metres. Further, the project consists of senior housing of 28 apartments with a total BTA of 2893 square metres. In connection with this, an activity center with a view of the new park is also expected.
The planned area goes from the road Enskedevägen up to the new road Diagonalen and over to the extension of the road Hallvägen towards the road Enskedevägen and ends at the road Lindevägen.
In the middle of the area, the plan is to establish a new park. This is thought to be one of the largest parks in the Slakthus area. The park should invite to both rest and activity, but will also be functioning as a water drainage in case of large amounts of rain.
The project is expected to begin in Q1 2027 and with an end date in Q4 2029. The current time set for procurement of contractor is in Q2 2025.
